DesmoTexas did some GREAT rides last Spring/Summer. The rides were all day long... I was totally lost, and had a blast the whole way. I haven't checked in on them because i was just invited by a Duc owner (I don't have one... may be the next upgrade though). Hopefully they're still around, a good group of guys with level heads while riding... but not boring either.
i joined desmotexas and got a reply from what appears to be the lead dude, Carr. he said they've all been dormant but planning to jump start soon. probably has to do with what pachuco said, being fair weather riders.

First we need a snappy name...

How about Terrorizers of Women and Tots, TWATs for short? No, something about that doesn't work...

Hmm, maybe Ducatisti Allied For Tyranny, DAFT? No, that won't work...

We'll think of something.

Glad he is taking my advice. Plus he will enjoy all the eye-candy in the shop. Ducati and Aprilia eye-candy I mean.

I have a one Ducati motor in the garage rule (for now). that thing was loud and light.

I have first right of refusal on it though, it could make it's way back one day.

Took the 900 SS out to Sam Houston national forest this past weekend and had a blast! Had to spray some starting fluid in the K&N air fliters to get it started due to the cold weather; but after that started right up! This might sound crazy; but the Ducati handled better than my KTM! I did take a beating in the wind though. Anyway, that Bimota would look really good in my garage!

Volf, I think you lurking in the Ducati threads proves that you are missing that Italian beauty and need another one.

I just came back from a road trip to NM and spent a night at Roswell. I know what y'all are up to... all ya Ducatistis are really aliens that have snatched human bodies. And you are trying to me too.

Normal human beings wouldn't put up with such decrepit machines that goes clakclakclak...

I think it goes without saying we have to have a few screws loose to own one!
