confusion with inspection sticker [picture]

the bike i just purchased has a blue sticker under the license plate. the blue sticker has 2 black dots: (1) dot on JUL (1) dot on 6. the license plate has a sticker on the right hand corner 08/13 which im sure is for registration.

im having a problem reading the blue sticker... does it mean i dont have to inspect until JUL 2016?

can someone help clear this up for me please? im about to go in Monday to transfer the title / register the bike. i'd like to know if i need to get it inspected before bringing it in.

Probably going to have to wait until Monday, or Tuesday.

No, it's a 2009 bike.

Someone made a mistake when they did the inspection. Not surprising, since every once in awhile you run into a guy who has never inspected a motorcycle.

I say leave it, but hey, cops love me.

yep, someone made a mistake. moto inspections are not too common so you get that one newb that doesnt know and makes a mistake. just get it redone if it bothers you that much or if they ask for it. a whole $14.75

Any car place.
If they say they need to ride it (ask first), go elsewhere.
~$15
Should be doable on sunday
Either punched wrong, or the sticker plate was moved from another bike. I know my used bike had a plate with a sticker on each side... maybe it got flipped around at some point.
May or may not need it inspected to have it registered... i kinda doubt you do, but would suck to find out it is needed. You can just take paperwork... no need to take the bike.
It will need to be insured though.

This color of inspection sticker is the most current, but the person punched the hole incorrectly. The ones from 2006 are blue or another color, not silver like this one. Technically, it doesn't expire until 06/2016.
