Would you be willing to pay for....

Unlimited access to the motochat and off topic pics and video sections?

I had a long conversation with one of the mods yesterday and I came up with this idea to fix things.. what do yall think?

Pay $10 and Never have to worry about mods moving/closing/editing your posts or threads as long as they dont break any rules (No , No Racism, No Threats, yall know the rules)

I think it'd be a great idea and a good way to contribute to MH, Its a free site? yes. But if you want to use it as your personal chat room and if you want to show off the cool new video of britany spears shaving her head.. then pay 10 bucks and you can show them off.. and chat the threads up all you want (withing the rules)

breaking the rules... you get 3 warning (24 hour bans) for breaking the rules. after your 3rd ban the 4th will be for good, or you can pay 10 bucks to get back into the BullShit sections.

So.... whatcha think?

if people wanted to "" that badly, it wouldn't be hard to start an IRC chat, but if the main issue is the site needing money:dontknow:

the mods should just enforce the no thread whoring policy. . .If we contribute any more to the boards, we should have a contributing member tag or something similar to show we support this sight!?!? just my two cents of course.

Okay, I wasn't sure what the primary motivation was behind this since Clayton said he discussed this with a mod. I figured his motivation was whoring, but also maybe money was a factor. I wish we could clarify what exactly constitutes misuse of the off-topic section though, as there are threads with 10k posts that haven't been closed, but some with 300 that were closed. I myself don't really care to read people's personal discussions on here, but I'm not above it myself. I think where i draw the line is when it's a thread no one else can participate in because it's designed only for a select member or members(unless maybe it's a meet or something), but that's just my perception.

this site is becoming useless with all the whoring, i am losing interest with the site too much drama here. people need to grow up and bring the drama to myspace or some gay like that like that. why dont you take that $10 from each person and start up your own site. chris has put his own time and money into this site and people like to take advantage of that. grow the **** up and make the site what it used to be.

I thought that post whoring was part of the existence and purpose of a forum.

I've yet to see a forum without a thriving off-topic section.

Honestly, I can understand about "some" of the postwhoring, but where else in Houston can you find a forum for local stunters? Surely not SL....that's worldwide.....:dontknow:

I think it's a dumb idea....plenty of drama around here without it. If cruising MH ddn't help pass my workday by that much quicker, I probably wouldn't visit the site as sifting through nthe dumbass posts is rediculously stupid. It's like reading through someone's IM conversation. So to answer your question.

NO!
