I hope you get it all worked out.
I sure wish I had taken it to Motorcycles Unlimited. Will be in soon enough to have valves checked, and a good once over before riding it. Was very happy with the service at 14,000 mile service when I brought it to your shop. Dam the misinformation from the first few Cornerstone employees.

You deserve something for all the bullshit they put you thru and time you spent getting it resolved. Not to mention the lost time enjoying your ride. And Who's to say you won't need to file another claim for more repairs in the future.

Im just not sure if its worth it to possibly screw them back when you got good guys that might end up suffering due to others business ethics.
The good guys are already suffering because of the actions of the ahole that decided to be a fruad. The sooner the Ahole gets run out of the business the better off it will be for the rest of the employees for and the dealership.

Please do tell what stealership. I don't mind near as much when they are the insurance, or the manufacturer, but when they start the little guy. Then they are aholes.

I don't know what your extended warranty covers but if the insurance company paid for a new motor and you got a used one, plus you paid out of pocket, did you pay more than you should have? That's a question only you can answer.

I disagree, and I don't want anything.

I do.

I requested a used one due to not wanting to pay 2,500 out of pocket. But yes they still billed for rebuilding the motor with OEM parts. I paid zero other than originally purchasing the plan.

But I see what you are saying.

Done with it till I hear back from Cornerstone.

They did in fact bill for rebuilding the motor with OEM parts.

I have since received a call from them but I did not answer, and no voicemail was left. Insurance didn't seem too concerned but evidently they contacted them or I wouldn't have gotten that phone call. Waiting to get serial number off motor for Cornerstone tonight and contacting Ebay used motor seller.

The whole experience has been a mess but I'm glad its over.
Motor that was used seems to be working well, but want it checked out elsewhere.
Paid nothing out of pocket on this other than purchasing the plan
Still glad its all over, and can just get back to riding!
Not interested in slamming a shop I just wanted Cornerstone to know what took place.

Thanks for everyone's input and advice on the situation.

Please close thread

So you're not going to tell us what shop it was?

No I am not going to outright tell you because they have multiple locations, and I don't want to lump them all together.

i am not likely to ever own a green bike much over 85cc and if i do it will be a used one and patrick will be the only one to work on it... so i guess it is not really important to me which shop it was...
