I think the owner is the problem with GSS. In fact, I know he is the problem.

Allan may or may not want to clarify, but like I said, this DPS certification has nothing to do with him not doing anymore days out there.

That sucks. Whoop did some great days out there. Plus a fun track that I wanted to go back out on on the tard.

Rodrigo and I did our track day together to dismiss our tickets from a ride at the Sisters. It was through Ridesmart, we felt like we were getting away with something...not really though?

Getting Certified for different tracks is a matter of a little paper work. I stopped doing Trackdays at GSS for the same reason the other 2 track orgs stopped.

I was just reading thru this thread and I was wandering what happens when a person takes it for ticket dismissal and then crashes.

Does he fail?

No one wants more government involvement. I, and my peers, were forced to get certified or it was cease and desist, ordered from DPS. Now that more folks are being forced to do the same there is spotlight on the ridiculousness of this issue. Ticket dismissal is just a small bonus. It all sucks for everyone involved.

Send a message via AIM to mekrew
i skipped a lot of the reading , but as far as ticket dismissal goes. I don't see many street riders hunting down gear to wear (some orgs rent sure), preparing their bike for a trackday JUST for ticket dismissal.

^^ I think the point most people are trying to make is that a track day is a fun way to get out of a ticket and get to ride the track your enjoyment as well!!

No, it was Your bosses Tim and Steve that started this whole thing and after they got certified they turned everybody in who was not Certified.
