it has tons of potential. There were plans for a mile long section that would be a faster circuit....when that section is/if made it would have a ton of potential.
as far as "too small", msrc is about the same.
tires...that track is GREAT on tires.
Never gonna race there.... CMRA WENT there to look at it to race there...they would have had the owner not been a and made better facilities.
Owner is a ...yes.

Owner is a ...yes.
Should have rephrased better.

When I say to small, personally on a 600 I did not like it. On a 1000 it def felt to small. I rode a 1000 there and really felt it was too much for that track. Just my opinion. Now a motard at GSS was ALOT of FUN.

Your write about it being the same size as Msrc but that's when they just run the small section of the track. Which is still bigger then GSS and has way better elevation. However, when they race the big bikes there they dont race the 1.3 they race the whole track which is long.

I do agree with you about it having some potential. Upgrading the facility and changing owners
I will say it again. YES the owner is a .

From an insurance standpoint...if you happen to wreck during a trackday that has been dps approved, how do you go about getting insurane to pay for damage or total out the bike? I always assumed that insurance wouldnt cover damage during a trackday, unless you lied to them and said it happened on the street. But now with dps certification, how does insurance damage work?

Insurance will cover a track day as motorcycle instruction. Racing is different story. There's some moto-agents that can give you details

Different companies and policies vary, but many of them make the separation at "timed event".

Then there are guys who simply don't want to deal with the hassle, and just claim it as on the street... cause even if they SHOULD cover the track... it might end up as a hassle/fight.

Cool, so nothing changes, same ol track orgs at the same tracks. Only thing is that we have some chance at ticket dismissal.

Yay! Unnecessary if you ask me, but no one did

Is this for real?
We could do a track day and get a ticket dismissed? Or is this just speculation?
Is like to see one of the orgs jump in and confirm.

check with your insurance, mine covered track days since it is considered a school. It's when you are doing a race event say with cmra when it is not covered.

I had farmers insurance when I totaled mine on the track. Once it was clarified that it was not a race, they paid out just like normal.

I have a court date in April. If my lawyer doesn't get it dismissed I will ask for a track day to get it dismissed.
