STOLEN 2007 Blue GSX-R1000

My motorcycle was stolen tonight at my apartment complex between 8pm and 12am. It's a 2007 Blue Suzuki GSX-R1000, no scratches, perfect condition. Full carbon fiber Yoshimura exhaust.

It was stolen at my apartment complex near Antione Rd and Memorial Dr.

TX License plate 4SF-730

It was covered and had a disc lock on it. The thieves must have lifted it into a truck or trailer.

Please contact me if you see it around. Reward for info leading to the who did this. Pics to come.

Not trying to down you or anything, but if I owned a high profile bike like that I would budget in a Low Jack system. Especially if I had to park it at an apartment complex. You would have your bike back by now probably and the perps would be enjoying their holidays with Bubba and the gang.

I want to get a Ducati in the next couple of years and it will definitely have one installed.

, im sitting here wondering how they were able to transport your bike, say the did put it into a un-enclosed trailer or truck bed, how would they tie it down if its covered and everything.

Did you find your cover removed and just sitting in the parking lot or did they throw it in a trash can not far from there? (Or maybe they took it with them) Im a firm believer in covering the bike (just as you did) out of sight out of mind,

and if anyone saw someone with it, they would know that if the cover was locked or tied up some how someone cutting thru the cover obviously didnt have the keys and wasnt supposed to be tampering with it in the first place.

disc locks dont do anything. They just put the front wheel on a skateboard, and roll it away to a waiting truck.

Lo jack and full coverage.

Hate hearing about bikes getting stolen

Really sorry to hear about it, but apartments are NOT safe! You better have theft coverage if you plan on leaving it outside at ANY apartment in the greater Houston area. That being said, I live in an apt not too far from you and I got word that a guys 04-05 GSXR 600 got stolen last week from 8a-11a on a weekday when the gates were open for the trash truck to come. He always had a cover on it, and cable locked it to the cables in the perimeter of the garage. Apparently the security cameras were not working at the time, go figure...

i'll keep an eye out man, and i know how full coverage can be too expensive.. you covered it and had a disc lock on it at least thats good.

You can add theft coverage to your policy. You do not need full coverage. I dont really feel sorry for anyone that parks a bike at an apartment without theft coverage. That is just stupid.
