Yeah this is exactly what I was going to tell you. Figure that out first then think about getting another bike. Later through your bachelors it's going to be hard to find time for rides. I'm so stuck under school work, work, interns, relationships between friends and girlfriend, and they all get in the way of the common ride times

if you are going to school then the military keep what you got right now, enjoy it, and when you are clear of the initial training in the military AND have a steady income get yourself something much nicer. The 250 is great for where you are at, its cheap, not as likely to get stolen, and best of all when you make a bod decision while drunk and let a friend ride it up the street he is not likely to wheelie at 90 mph and crash into the back of a parked truck (like happened to a guy i work with when he was in college).
