if you had a full on dirt bike the mud would be fun, cleaning up after, not so much...
if i ride it will be just on the cement, and if it gets muddy or too dirty, i would just be a spectator. slicks and trash on the surface do not mix well
i lost trey's number so i can not call him and see if he is awake...

Ok ladies,
Stay home and do your things with your family, playstation, or GP . There is no way we can do this today. The whole place looks like a big bowl of gumbo.
Now, i barely made it out of there after 15 min. of fighting out of the mud. I deserve a medal for sacrificing, so get your out to wash my truck!

you should have left that on there as a badge of honor...
i did not get all the way loaded up.... did get the truck turned around and the minigp out and started up....in the process my knee let me know that riding would have been no fun today, so it all worked out for the best...
thanks Mark for going for us...

Holy , this thread exploded! I just stumbled on this. Hey guys, this is Everett. I wish somebody would've called me - I could've easily told y'all the park would be muddy and saved ya a trip to the car wash. For future reference, take my digits. Ate tree too -ate tree oh - too fife fife won.

Here's the lowdown:
Mike is the name of the groundskeeper and he's a real cool dude. Check out the info and friend their facebook page, SugarHill Orp (SHORP). The park runs by donations, invitations, and word of mouth. Legal red tape is delaying ownership but Mike has full authority from LEOs and the main shareholder of the property. VANDALS AND TRESPASSERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY. The only authorized entrance is the chained driveway on Bissonnet, in front of the clubhouse and parking lot.

As for the park itself, it is 142 acres of free roam, mixed use playground. That means everything from pitbikes and gokarts to tanks and monster trucks can come play - even rally cars. Yes, all of those have been there. As of now, THERE ARE NO DESIGNATED TRAIL DIRECTIONS. Our kart track is the only established track and by word of mouth it is set as counter clockwise. So, for this reason, BE CAREFUL WHEN CRESTING HILLS. There could be a truck on the other end. The clubhouse has full electricity, and running water, and the warehouse is being built up into a working repair shop, however, it is all kept locked and wired with security cameras.

There are plans to come out and mark trails with directions and difficulty and we will be posting up facebook events and I'll keep an eye on this thread to update y'all here as well. Add me on fb if ya want to stay in the loop, sometimes I forget. I've been working and talking with mike for several months now and I've been doing some coordinating with my 4x4 club and fellow motojunkies to set up events and volunteer working days. The day of choice is Sunday, however the park is open by appointment Fri evening to Sun night with extended holiday hours.

The kart track, for any who haven't been, is just as cool as you ever thought racing on a golf course sidewalk would ever be. Its about 4ft wide, meandering and undulating, and now well groomed slabs, with abbout 36 corners, hairpins, switchbacks, chicanes, spoons, kinks, and joy of joys, a wheelie hill. The ideal sized bike is a 125-150 mini, 250s will fly down the straights with ease but can feel a bit under worked for the majority of the track. 50s are always a blast, and a tracked out 110 will give ya quite a thrill.

If ya ever want to get some friends out there, need info, or want to coordinate an event, give me or mike a call. It's a great place to ride. I think I covered everything.
