Random as but..

I was going around town looking at potential 'next bikes' come next summer when it's time for my current bike's over-haul, I SADLY Did not test ride any of them, BUT HEY that's for another/warmer/ day.

The bike's I looked at, The Triumph Speed Triple, The Z1000 and the Aprilia V4r.

I started my day by sitting on the Triumph Speed Triple and doing some research on it, and then moved onto the Z1000, Both of those were amazing machines -At least in looks as I said, I have yet to test ride any of them.- So as my day out and about comes to a close my buddy reminds me that Aprilia has a naked bike out as well--I've never considered this but what the hey--So I drive my down to Houston Superbike and take a look at the V4r..

The video pretty much sum's up my feelings for the bike--SO I guess sometime in the near future, I'll be needing to test ride 3 bikes.

Random thread, OVER

I have a Gen. 1 Z1000 and can attest that you can not go wrong with this bike. Although, I would most likely give up my bike for a nice Speed Tripple.

Speed Triple.
I loved em with the real ugly bug eye headlights but they look waaaay better now.
Sexy and has a lot of character. A pretty exclusive bike.

I followed that same path, plus a few more. Paused on Aprilia a good while, until I discovered the KTM SuperDuke.

I didn't realize that was you that came in yesterday. Come on, you know that prilia is a beast, and I'm not being bias. Compared to the other two, there really isn't a comparison

2012 Triumph Speed Triple R

2014 BMW s1000R
2012 Aprilia Tuono (sold)

Ive test road all 3. I own a SF, which is why i strayed from the Aprilia...and its 90 MILE tank that everyone about as well. Cheapest is the z1000, great, then the Speed Trple (Unless you get an R), then the Tuono. I feel the tuona is a beast but the fit and finish is lacking compared to a Ducati.

That being said, you just need to ride them all. The Aprilia will cost you a bit more in maintenance thats about it.
