if you get caught....... what are the charges? if he was able to clock us the only thing he can do is to write us up for exhibition of speed ticket or a lecture..... Yes the same cop can search on the internet and find this event but the biggest problem here is "How is the cop going to prove that every one involved was speeding?" unless he was able to clock everyone at the scene, there is no hard evidence to be presented in court to make any of the charges stick!

I was once charged with " spectating a drag race". It was dropped but it got me a court date. I know at least another 100 that got the same charge. I'm gonna bow out now out now since its pointless to argue. Maybe a few can grasp what I'm saying. If so, I made my point. I know some here think I'm trying to on their show and they are not gonna grasp the Big picture. That isn't my intent. I love this type of event.

In the State of Texas, the charge for racing, as defined in the statute, is a Class B Misdemeanor

The charge is a Class A Misdemeanor (just below a felony) if you were legally intoxicated at the time or have an open container of alcohol as defined in the Penal Code. It is also a Class A Misdemeanor if you've been convicted once before of racing.

It is a State Jail Felony if you've been convicted two times before of racing.

Important One
It is a Third Degree Felony if, as a result of racing, someone suffered bodily injury. CliffNotes: If you get into an accident while racing and someone gets hurt, even in a minor way, it's a Third Degree Felony.

It is a Second Degree Felony if, as a result of racing, someone suffered serious bodily injury (like a broken bone or a permanent injury) or death.

That didn't help us last time. We still all got blocked in by POPO..

Best way to keep this from getting busted is to cut out the spectators and keep only the serious competitors going. It's a lot easier to keep 10-12 bikes organized and under controller then 25-30 bikes.. Trust me on this..

The spectators wont be riding with us, only the 2 test riders will be on the road plus a couple of chase bikes

All this being said, I'd still participate in this event (if I had a fast liter bike), they are a ton of fun, just have to be real incognito as to how you do it.

Its gonna be a blast...

I figure the chase bikes will have to keep up to your speeds to get footage? If yes, then they will have to be equally fast.

Btw! I am just trying to picture this event. So don't mind me.

I haven't got a pm with the location and time.

You don't know how to read very well.

If you go back and look i was only braking down what bluewave said since you didn't understand. I also said i don't care if you all do it since i used to do it in my car. The only thing i said was to do it at the drag strip since this is for testing purposes and more accurate.
