Spoke Wraps?

http://www.bykas.com/category-s/47.htm

Any body use them? This could be a cheaper alternative to powercoating my spokes....

I've actually considered these. I would rock them. Certainly a good alternative to PC'ing.

I like the idea of the stickers if your into that kind of thing.
prolly gonna take a while to get them put on but what the , sit down for an hour if you need to and pimp your ride, and its also a mod that anybody can do.

its not cheaper than the powder item for item, I'll do a set of spokes for 25...... buuuuuuuuuut powder work on laces includes the labor or even just the time if you do the work yourself cost money, like taking the tire off and tearing the rim down and then powder work and then re-lace, remount tire etc etc etc.....

Tim I was the one who emailed you about my wheel hubs(from a gov email acct)...your already doing those (once I break em down). I got my supermoto rims in today....I want to do the spokes in a 2 tone or just maybe all black...

Once I break the wheels all down in the next week or so I will be in contact...

I think this would be a good idea as long as you stay on-road. I've done a tape job and it lasted about a month or two before getting pretty torn up, but I'm off-road just as much as I am on-road. YMMV

I ended up ordering the spoke wraps from a guy on Planet Minis...They are like heavy duty straws with a slit cut down the center for installation. The RED color isnt as bright as I would of liked but it will work I guess.....Would I but them again? Probably not....
