Nope. They all have the same part number. The braking of cranks has more to with how people rode them. I never had an issue because I'm easy on equipment. Dustin Dominguez had problems with them because he is very hard on equipment.

You don't have to short shift it. Shift at about 11k. The extra 500 rpm the power starts to decline. So basically keep it off of the limiter. And don't over rev it while downshifting. Or get a slipper clutch and prob solved
