How about class action lawsuit for psychological damages?

Any lawyer taking this case?

Circuit of The Americas’ provides updated information on pending track rentals

Circuit of The Americas™ today announced that it would honor track rentals with four organizations that had booked track days and paid rental fees in advance. “We are moving ahead with these agreements and contacting clients so they can share this information with their members and customers,” Circuit spokesperson Julie Loignon said. “The executed rental agreements will limit the number of vehicles we have on track at any given time to ensure a fun and safe experience for participants, including any amateur drivers who will be participating. We regret the confusion that was caused as we worked through these issues with our clients and look forward to providing a one-of-a-kind experience to auto enthusiasts coming to Circuit of The Americas through our track rental program.”

When COTA says "not executed" it means the contract was not signed by COTA. I doubt it ever signed the contract with Ridesmart.

Let's hope that COTA just decided to sponsor it's own track days. It would be great to ride COTA this year.

i don't think he's serious about the class action...

but you can't deny it's pretty much a stupid move to bite the hand the feeds you so early into operations...

there were people who had already made non-refundable rv park reservations across the street - who literally lost out on hundreds of dollars...

"just get over it" ?.... walk a mile mang... just sayin...

I sure hope it works out for Ride Smart.

I would think that the people at the track took a look at the fact that it sold out that quickly for 150,000 dollars for the weekend. It doesn't take a genius to figure out they could run their own motorcycle track program at near the same rates and employ their own people and make a healthier profit instead of just 50,000.

just got email from Ridesmart. COTA IS BACK ON!

Ride Smart and Circuit of The Americas executives today have agreed to go ahead with the June 1 and June 2 RideSmart trackday event. The number one priority for both Ride Smart and Circuit of The Americas is a safe, positive, and a learning experience for the rider, and there is now a clear understanding between Ride Smart and Circuit of the Americas, with the common goal of assuring that participants will receive a safe, fun, and an ultimate experience on this challenging new track.

What a weekend! Thanks for everyone's support.

For those of you that I voided or refunded already, I will send you info on how to get back in. Everyone else, you are good to go!

Randy
