Woke up and was like "dam" I can hear the wind outside. Power is out in my neighborhood. However, had a generator installed to the house years ago after the hurricane so my house was only without power for about 10 seconds until the generator turned on.

Times like these is when I feel I've actually got use out of it. (Only been needed maybe 4 times)

Everyone drive/ride safe today

Does the generator automatically cut off when power is restored?

Yes.

Also it cuts on twice a month and runs for maybe 5 minutes to assure its still getting the battery charged and running so its not just sitting. It's def a nice luxury. Power cuts off and like 10 seconds later the whole house will power back up.

I go that way and 249 is always bad, can't imagine how 249/belt was this morning .

caging it was my only option since I have my kiddo tonight. Worked out perfect because it would have SUCKED being on two.

Be safe guys!

Done with work for 2012---wanted to ride today but SL is gusty also. I will wait until it blows through, I dislike gusts above 40 mph and trash all over the place. Stay safe
