Anyone got an air pressure impact wrench?

There was a bolt locking the variator on my scooter that is too tight to be taken off. Abt a year ago, there was a guy from motorcycle umlimited helped me take it off but I can't find him somehow.

I changed my belt recently and was able to use my Harbor Freight electric impact wrench to take off that nut. I wedged a 2x4 on one of the splines and used the impact wrench to get it off.

I got one, if you need to borrow it, but please make sure you can deliver it back to me.

I let someone use my Service manual, and i have yet to get that back. The harbor freight electric is useful though you ought to get one. $50 bucks. Been using it for the bikes.

So the electric one is good enough? I might just run down to HomeDepot to get myself one.

I am still around. Just school & life got really busy and all. How have you been?

That was probably Scott, Squanto84 on here. He's not at Motorcycles Unlimited anymore.

the one i have puts out 230. 345 and you may not have to use a 2x4 to prevent the variator from spinning.

You may as well buy one since you will be testing out weights for your variator.
