Question Do you believe in ? Religion?

Just want to know if you believe in or a higher being. Do you believe that the universe was created by a higher power? Please state your reasons for believing so.

I believe in (Jesus Christ)...why you ask? how do i know he's real or just a fairy tale? it's called FAITH my brotha.

i'm no hardcore christian or anything....but i believe religion is there to guide you through life. i guess, like a set of standards to live by. you gotta believe in something.

don't get me wrong, i've done my share of wrong-doings. but I believe in forgiveness and repenting. there's nothing me, you, or anybody else has done that can't be made right.

I know all about faith that people have that he does exist. I'm not trying to steer anyone away from believing what they want either.
I was raised to believe that there is a higher power that has created everything and watches over everyone, but truthfully I believe that it is all garbage, thought up to have people act a certain way.
I don't think that there is anything that will have me to believe that there is a . I will still go to church with my wife, but I do not believe most of what that man up at the altar has to say.

edit: I may need some bodywork done in the near future, I'll pm you when I need it done

I believe in , I think that there is little that happens by chance........somebody once wrote "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". I don't recall who (must be the Crown).
FWIW.......I don't believe in ghosts, Alien beings from another galaxy, Dinasours or that we evolved from apes.

FIXED
Claiming Christianity, raised in Christian home, just don't always do what the good Lord wishes for me to do. And FWIW, I too don't think we came from apes, but I do believe in dinosaurs...just not so sure they were around billions of years ago

I'd never heard of somebody not believing in dinosaurs until Carl Everrett said something like that.

Can someone help me out here? Is it because you believe the earth is only 6,000 years old and so claims of 75+ million year old fossils is rubbish? Or do you believe they are 6,000 years old and not millions? Or do you believe the fossils were buried by hoax'sters? OR, none of the above?

That is the way I lean when it comes to this topic, but I certainly don't lose sleep trying to figure it out.
