I bought an 02 r6 (in 08) that had just over 4k miles on it. Some people just buy bikes and don't ride them.

From a guy in Austin who bought it brand new, rode it for a short while, bought a bunch of farkles for it, then had a medical thing where he couldn't ride. By the time he could ride again, he had lost interest in the SV and bought himself a new V Rod. I saw he had been listing the SV for a yr , but price was unrealistic. Then all of a sudden dropped the price, so I snatched it up. Comets find out he just bought house in Arizona and was moving. Other than the headers being a bit blues, the SV was showroom quality.

Just bought a VFR 1200 this week from a guy getting deployed. He had to unload a 750HP Vette too. Then that buyer wrecked the front end punching it trying to beat the first redlight driving away from the bank. That's why I trailered mine home.

Buying and selling can be a lot of fun. Get to meet a lot of interesting people and hear a lot of stories. Plus the thrill of the hunt, and the joy of bagging home a bargain, to me, is almost as much fun as riding them.

Same tail section. The R6s basically IS the R6 from early 2000's. Just like the ZZR600 was basically the ZX-6R from the late 90's-early 2000's.

only the 2005 r6 has inverted forks in the older "s" style body . last year it was not an "s." the "s" models then started using conventional forks again, with the "real r6" of those yrs getting USD forks.
