At what % on the forecast do you call it?

I'm going down to the Galleria area Saturday. Weather forecast says 40% Saturday, 30% Sunday. What I want to know is in the experience of the riders here, How likely am I to get soaked?

This.

Always check the radar. I like to think of those percentages as 30% (or 40%) of the city of Houston WILL get rain. If you're lucky it will be you.

I rode in a storm over Slumgullion Pass in Co when it was around 40F. THAT sucked, but I wouldn't have missed that ride for anything.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slumgullion_Pass

The choice is always yours, but some riders don't call it for a little rain. If you're nervous, just slow down a bit until you feel comfortable and watch those cages - Houstonians can't drive when it rains.

Pretty much what Squoddybody said,

Personally I call it at 60%+, 50% and lower, I always check the radar before I ride and check the hour by hour forecast as well just to make sure.

, Houtson drivers can't get it right when it's dry. When I start relying on other peoples driving skills to avoid accidents, then I've lost the game.

Usually around 40-50% I start checking hour by hours. Rain doesnt bother me, cold however does. And cold and rainy is the devil. If you ever get caught in rain dont freak out, just keep more distance and watch the cagers. And ALWAYS keep a plastic ziplock back in your pocket for your phone. Or put it in the Lifeproof cases.
