Rode a scooter (49cc) the other day at work from a lady co-worker. Scare the out of me. Felt very under power and fast turns felt like I was to low-side it. I think you can not compare both, is like apples to oranges, they each have their own skill level to master.

In a pothole situation the bigger wheels of a motorcycle would be an advantage. So in houston a scooter may be more difficult. It would depend on the road conditions.

I would think a lower powered Scooter, would be more difficult if not "HOLY NEED MORE POWER" in traffic.

IMO....Scooter...after certain speed, they are unstable....smaller wheels..fully automatic = no engine braking...Suspension too bouncy.....atleast, thats what I learnt from my 3 scooters..
