You need to have insurance, turn signals must work if you have them, horn, highbeam, brake light....

There should be no reason for them to touch your bike other than putting the sticker on.

Inspector Quick on 8 near Spencer is where I have always gone. They are bike friendly

Haha yea there was a thread about 3-6 months ago about a guy who's bikes failed inspection because only one side was lit up......luckily Ive always had an inspector whos had common sense

Havoline XpressLube on Braeswood and Hillcroft did mine. No drama. They did a real inspection (blinkers, lights hi/lo, etc...) and gave me a sticker. Easy.

Just go to Inspector Quick. Its close to you and they are not total dumbasses.

Incorrect. Regs state that if the inspector has an M endorsement he is supposed to test ride it and do a brake test.

I almost lost my inspection license when my trooper observed me not test riding a bike when doing the inspection. I have also caught unsafe bikes through test rides and subsequently failed them.

inspection, i don't pay for those anymore

and the last ****** that did scratched my lp mount removing the old sticker with his windshield razor.

Idiot.

So I came to realize, why pay these idiots to inspect the saftey of my moto. F that I do it myself.
