Anyone in SW(or Richmond) have a heatgun I can borrow?

Maybe later this week or weekend? I just need it for a couple minutes to bend my fuel pump straight again. I can return it back the next day. The ethanal done warped it up something bad. I can leave a deposit if you need me to.

Thanks guys.

I looked at that one, but read the reviews and it seem slike abolute garbage. If I'm going to purchase one, I want it to last...Plus I only need it once, and I'm not even sure if the idea will work. So that's $15 down the drain...I'm cheap I know!

Thanks, cegusman. If I can't find anyone closer, I might take you up on that. what area of katy? I live on 99 pretty close to the katy freeway.

i just purchased a Harbor Freight heat gun for 16 bucks to help melt adhesive to pull out old linolium flooring....did the trick, price was right, and you can't even tell I've used it...well worth the 16 bucks and now i'll have one for any other projects that come along...BUT, I like tools and whenever new ones need to be purchased (even for those once in a while jobs) I don't second guess unless they are $100+ items.

I'm in Richmond (Pecan Grove), and have the cheap Harbor Freight 2-level heat gun if you want to borrow it. I bought it to fix a PS3's YLOD and it worked fine for that, but hasn't been out of the box since.

I got HF's big orange hair dryer too. Don't use it very often, but works every time I need it to. Catch it with a 20% coupon and/or on sale, it's worth having one around the house.

Now if you use one professionally, then fork over the bucks and buy name brand.
