help

hi i have a question need help i am about to buy a 2007 gsxr 600.. the bike looks very nice only has 4000 miles, but the man said the f1 light comes on and off should i buy it or not..thanks

like as in how much info because he said that it only comes and goes and that the suzuki dealership said it could just be ethanol in the gas that would make t do it.

ask the seller if you can bring the bike to Motorcycles Unlimited, Motorcycles Unlimited does pre-buy inspections.

Yes go ahead and buy it. More than likely its the stupid servo motor for the exhaust. Which you don't need.

It is not F1 (one), it is FI as in Fault Indicator, *not* fuel injection.

This does not point to a specific fault. You must put the bike into dealer mode and then it will give you an actual fault code, then you need to look up the fault code. It is not terribly difficult. Hopefully with a bike with that low mileage, it will be something simple.
