I'm happy with the 750. TBH the 1000 would of just been too much for me at the track. Then again the 750 will already be too much at the track well for me at least.

Bike(s):
2007 GSXR 1000
2007 Kawi ZX10R (SOLD)
2006 Kawi ZX6R (SOLD)
2005 Suzuki GSXR 600 (SOLD)

Might be a good competitor but i remember the ZX10R taking "bike of the year" the last 2 or 3 years with the 636 dominating the 600 class even though they like to call it the "cheater" bike.

Ive owned a sudookie and upgraded to a Kawi! Much more bike and much better feel IMO!

The ZX10 did win Cycle Worlds shoot out, but it is really all rider prefference. The biggest thing Suzuki has over the others is it's long stroke engine. It has much more low end and mid range than any others

Just wanted to point that out because it seems everyone is always biased to the bike they own and is in denial of the true facts in the matter. lol

And opinions are like , everyone has one but the fact is still that the ZX10 did indeed dominate its class.

Only wanted to point that out cause you were kawi in the first post and you know i gotta rep Kawi!!

All the bikes they offer now are all pretty comparable but everyone has their own preference. I personally rank my favorites in the order of Kawi, Honda, Suzuki and then last, Yamaha.

Just about every European mag raves about the 636. . . not so much over here usually. I think Cycle World was just about the only one.:eh:

If I was going for an all out liter based on performance alone, I'd take the GSX-R everytime, though I love the 10R.

Yeah, cycle world was one of the mags i was reading reviews out of but i do have a couple others (though they are almost a year old now) that rave about the 636. It is definitely the beast of the 600 class bikes! I love mine!!

As for the litre bikes, i believe the performance was higher on the zx10r. All i know is that kawi makes a mean bike but the gsxr's are prob pretty close. I havent ridden one of the new gsxr's myself so i cant say for sure but i would imagine any litre bike would be way more power than i need. The zx10r i rode was just NASTY FAST!! I just like the lightweight of my bike cause its easy to throw around and has excellent control and still packs a good punch!! Ill prob get a litre bike soon enough but i just dont want to get over my head. Id rather ride my bike to its full potential before i move up and i dont think i need a litre bike yet. I still have alot of fun on mine and im far from being bored with it!
