My new mods - trackdays should be better

Just replaced my stock 375 lb/in spring with a 475 lb/in one from Southwest speed. I had to modify the mount by brazing a steel ring on the support washer. I plan to upgrade that with a welded one.

That was before the noob ride last Saturday to Navasota. The bike seemed to handle better in high speed cornering.

Just finished replacing my stock 0.87 kg/mm fork springs with 1.0 kg/mm RaceTech fork springs that arrived today. My rider sag went from 45 mm to 32 mm with less preload! Can't wait to try them out. I think the shipping box was a little overkill in size.

Check out the steel "frame sliders". I temporarily replaced my frame sliders with steel rider pegs that they sell for bicycles at Wally World for $10, so that I can support the front of the bike on jackstands. They don't look too bad, and are a little longer as well.
