Is that something that I should probably take in to get done or is it something a do it yourselfer can do?

i'd take it in to do it, or if you can find someone willing to do it for you but along-side you so you can gain the invaluable knowledge of how to do it yourself that would be pretty top notch in my opinion (having never done it such as yourself but in a position and with a desire to learn)

Yeah I'd say ask someone who's experienced in replacing the seals and help you with it.

If you have to ask that question, you should take it somewhere and have it done.
