I've been twice. As far as your bike is concerned, everywhere we went including parking at the hotel at night, there were $30,000 Harleys. If some one was looking to steal a bike it wouldn't be japanese.
Do not: wheelie
burnout
do stoppies
rev your engine excessively.

Do: go to the beach (it's beautiful)
wander around in the parking lots to look at bikes
go to Main Street at night (a freak show with bikes and )
spend $5 on beads and offer them to girls.
during the race, stand right at the fence by the track (they will chase you off if you stay too long)
wear sunscreen and drink water
The last time I went about 2 years ago we had to bring our stuff into the track in clear backpacks. Probably cheaper here if that is still true.
Have fun! We will want a full report WITH pics upon your return.

I bought them through www.racetickets.com for $40.00 each, me and my dad are going. The camping is 25.00 a night per person but it looks like lotsa fun. Im borrowing a trailer from a friend.

camping at the track is free with tickets

If you go without a bike you'll be miserable......it takes forever to get somewhere in a car & there's nowhere to park when you get there.

Make sure you have your MC license before you go because almost all of the mfg's have free test rides of all the 07 bikes outside the track for licensed riders

& slip me $20 so I'll tell ya how to get all access crew passes....

Oh man, if you were only leaving one day earlier you'd be able to attend the AMA Daytona Shorttrack. It's actually the 7th and the 8th (2 races). You literally wouldn't believe how good racing can be. 25 guys In fact, if you didn't enjoy it, I'd pay for your ticket!!!

Here's the ticket info if you can go: http://www.racetickets.com
