Gear storage

I leave all my gear in the garage, it is probably better to leave it indoors.

This got me thinking where do you keep your gear. Should I move my stuff inside, is it that big a deal.

helmet i would keep inside, heat/cold affects the "styrofoam" rest could be kept outside.

but i keep all my stuff indoors, and my lid on a pedastal, lol
