Renting garage space for rebuild?

I'm an apartment dweller and looking to possibly rebuild my bike. I'm fairly handy with a wrench and I'm able to get ahold of tools, etc. Any suggestions on a place to rent garage space from? I was thinking maybe a mini storage with lights or at least electrical.

a boat storage would be ideal. Lights, cement floor and power hook ups

If you weren't on the other side of town I'd let you use my shop space...maybe you can find a small storage unit up there to work out of for a month or two.

Most storage rentals have stalls that are just about wide enough to park a bike in there. If you only need electricity for lights, you can use a car battery or marine deep-cycle battery to power LED lights. They are very bright and last way longer than you would want to stay in there working on the bike each trip. You can bring the battery back to recharge.
