HALFFAST Group

In response to many inquiries about HalfFast, we would like to provide you with this post, an introductory information and update of the project.

On our first open meeting, where we have explored the feasibility of the HalfFast project, we obtained certainty and confidence to proceed with launching HalfFast. Now, We have embarked on the official pre-launch phase of this project.

Prior to describing the components of the first phase, we would like to describe what HalfFast really is.

In the middle of 2012, four guys who came to be friends through street rides, and were track days enthusiasts, decided to pursue on obtaining the CMRA license. Knowing the cost and efforts involved with racing, it made perfect sense to join force and cooperate. Each one of the four had something to offer, and within a few months since the first initiative, all four obtained the licenses and participated in the first CMRA race.

One day over a dinner, the four of Us discussed about the possibility of bringing the riders community together to create a cooperation network to facilitate riders in all areas of our interest. Not just obtaining license and racing, but going to the track for the first time, or even riding motorcycle for the first time. We realized that if four guys who would have had extreme challenges to accomplish their racing dream if done alone, and were able to do it in a mere few months because of mutual efforts, what would be the possibilities if the entire rider's community comes together as one?

We now have all the components in place. Such as great forums, numerous vendors, several Track Days and other organizations, and of course, a large number of riders. "HalfFast" is the idea of bringing all together and creating an organized network of resources for mutual benefits. And those benefits and possibilities are limitless.

- Imagine being stranded on a highway with a broken down motorcycle. A HalfFast smart phone app with the map of volunteered fellow riders driving a truck with ramp, will display the ones nearest to where you are to come and help with towing the bike and giving you the ride home, or to the nearest shop on HalfFast network.
- Riding is an expensive sport. Bikes break down, and we all need gears. How about a gears and motorcycle parts bank, where one can obtain them either free or at very minimal cost?
- Track days. It is in pretty much every rider's bucket list. And once having the experience, we all get hooked on. The biggest impediments are always, the financial burden and lack of initial direction. At HalfFast, we are planning on bulk purchase of track days which will help the TD organizers with advanced and guaranteed revenue and increased customers. And adding bulk purchase discounts and sponsorship funds, we can bring the track day credits to HalfFast members at fraction of the actual cost. Having 3 trailers in place with capacity to carry 15 bikes, and planning on adding more in the future, we can not only provide rides for those who need it, we can reduce the cost of transporting the bikes to the track.
- For those interested in racing. As we grow in number, access to sponsorship will grow. Furthermore, as a non-profit organization, we can obtain funds to support our causes. HalfFast's goal is go create multiple fund raising programs through events and public relations to obtain financial resources and create racer's sponsorship programs.

These are just few of the ideas that We envision with HalfFast project. The possibilities are limitless.

Simply put, HalfFast will be the first association of riders, with it's goal to bring the rider's community together and provide support to it's members through vast network of resources!

In our first phase, we are looking into exploring the variables, and numerous challenges prior to launching HalfFast project. There are countless legal issues to be addressed such as liabilities and guidelines of a non-profit organization. And most importantly, a concise mission statement and a plan map to guide HalfFast through launching, managing, and future growth. These are the elements we are working on this first phase for the next two months.

We promise to keep all informed of the progress. And will appreciate feedback from our fellow riders during this preparation period. Please feel free to contact Us for any question or suggestion. We will be seeing you very soon with great news.

HalfFast Team.
Houston, Texas.

This is a great idea and with the right leadership, guidance and participation it can grow to really change the way the motorcycle community it's viewed and operates.

Just don't let Rykoson give a presentation again.

As the idea is to bring the community together, hence everyone benefits, Riders, Forums, Organizations, Businesses, etc. We need feedback and direction, hence mistakes can be prevented. If there is any indication that any part of this project may have a conflict of interest, and or potential negative impact to any person or entity, we would like to hear about it. To the other hand, if you guys have any idea or area of interest you would like to share with HalfFast, please let us know. HalfFast does not represent one single person, nor it is a mean for a lucrative benefit for the entity. Therefore, it is established as a non-profit organization determined to operate in open book format, and bring everything we can generate back to the community. Please open up and share your thoughts, to help Us take this to the right direction.
