Did roll ons all day with Clyde. I'll be happy to accomodate you. There is no way an RC can out accelerate a 1K. From a dead stop, it's all rider, in which I totally agree with you. Winning races is 80% rider. Always has been. But even given the same rider on both bikes, from a 70mph roll on, or any other speed, the Gixxer will spank the out of an RC.

I need a diet first. Cheaper to lay off the cheese burgers than to lighten up the rc. Thinking real hard about the 2-1 system to loose a few pounds.

ok so i have a guestion. can an o4 750 out run a 06 gsxr 1000 06 r1 05 zx10?? lets use TWS (Texas World Speedway) for example put all of them on the starting grid, the 1ks on the first row. who will make it to turn one first??

i ask this because supposedly the rc is equevalent to the 750s.

and i think yes a 750 can get the jump on a 1k outa the hole but by the time 2nd gear comes around a person good on the throttle, the 1k will pass the 750 easily....trust me i know......a buddy of mine witha zx10 always gives me a head start and we go up to about 140ish and i never come close to winning...
so what will make it to turn one first???

All depends on the riders. I suck at drag racing. So, unless we are strapping a rocket on me i doubt i could beat and SV to T1.

Here's a great vid of a guy on a RC51 racing and the guy he is battling w/ is on a new GSXR 750. Guy on the RC51 kills almost everyone on the launch, then one guy on a GSXR 750 checks out, and he battle a few laps w/ another GSXR750 and the GSXR walks him slightly in the long straight. First few times the 750 passes him on the straight, the RC51 catches him instantly cause he's a better braker...

Anyway, the real bonus of this clip is the sweet music. No, no musical artist, that sweet symphony of a high-revving V twin...

It's about bikes here. ther are too many variables. Take the same 2 bikes, SAME rider, and the 1K will win everytime. That's why the numbers are the important figure here. Not rider
