Boots: I have a pair of Harley Davidson lace up/zip up boots that I really like. They are also good for walking, which I understand is a problem with some racing boots. Look pretty good too. Only like $160 or so.

I currently wear jeans but am thinking about wearing more than that. Denim doesn't really do a thing at any speed.

See if someone can teach you. :laughing6

ATGATT is a term, I guess it is the habit of using it.

I've been wearing my gear consistently on every ride since late last summer, unless it was in the pits just scooting around. That is where the 'most' comes in. Take it as you please.

i know the 'term', and wouldn't it be an acronym? :icon_bigg

So has anyone actually "tested" the different pants that are available? It seems like unless the pants were skin tight, even if the pants didn't tear you'd still get a "rug burn" type effect. But I guess that would be better than road rash.

In terms of term, ATTGAT qualifies as a term under 1. "a word or group of words designating something" from http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/term.

So, coming to terms, you'd use it as an acronym as 1. "a word formed from the initial letters or group of letters of words in a set phrase" http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/acronym

Under this term, let's get back on topic.

I know a bunch of people that have (unfortunately) tested their gear and I'll see if I can dig up some of the pics.

You are absolutely right though - friction burn beats road rash ANY day of the week!

Or Levi's. So far I've ripped out the knees in two different pairs. Too bad knee patches aren't cool. Maybe I could bring em back in style. :laughing6

Yes, yes. And lucky for you young Missy, Mala is feeling saucy today, and I shan't take umbrage to your somewhat questionable evaluation of my jean rippage. :icon_smil

So we can't just say you wore them through because you're "on your knees" all the time? :laughing6

Synapsis are gone. Toast. Fried.

I'm just piggybacking off Nikki - I actually didn't know you were married until I read it in the keys/books thread. Since you are, the "on your knees" jokes aren't anything to be embarassed about.

Stand up for your womanhood and announce to the world that your man likes to get you on your knees!
