Need a ride from Motorcycles Unlimited to Cypress

I need to take my ZX10 to Motorcycles Unlimited to have the wheels removed for powdercoat.
Can anyone give me a ride from Motorcycles Unlimited to Cypress today?

All I can offer is tips on how to remove and reinstall the wheels yourself

Then you won't have to rely on anyone else

I can do it with stands (that I do not have) but I still have to remove and remount tires without up the powdercoat.

I have weighed the pros and cons of do it yourself vs turn key operations and letting Motorcycles Unlimited disassembe/store/ reassemble won out at the end of the day.

I do want you to help me cut that wire on my bike and block off plates!
My garage or yours?

Beer of your choice on me!

Sorry to thread jack Jeff but seen you live in cypress. The wife and I were in cypress Saturday and ate lunch at Rockwell tavern and grill. Their burgers were AMAZING. Ever ate there? If not I highly recommend it.

SUre have.
Its .25 mles up Telge from my house and it is good.
So you were .25 miles from my house and no holla? WTF?

Very close to Rockwell on the same side of Telge is PO's Burgers.
Great old school greasy burger. Served with wax paper.
Somehow the smell of warm wax paper around a greasy burger is nostalgic for me.

I just said take the wheels off. You can still let them do everything else. You just won't need a ride to/from there. See?

We are getting there.
Still do not have stands so either I barrow or buy to overcome part one of the equation.

I know how to take them off though. I saw you post the reverse spark plug socket trick on the ZX10 forum. I learned that one from my days on the FZ1 forum. Finding an allen that size is near impossible!

So, you gonna supervise a warranty void on a 2013?

Bryan hooked me up!

Thanks again Brian..it was nice meeting you.

I even got set up with pest control/lawn maintenence because that is what Brian does for a living. You never know how or why things will work out.

Project white wheels is under way! Motorcycles Unlimited is gonna handle everything including powdercoat. Patrick had a good suggestion...instead if rim tape, pinstripe the rim!!
Cannot wait.
