After watching some of the vids posted by other riders I can see several things I can do to improve. The first few time around Diamonds Edge i was having a hard time figuring where to brake. I have to say the Carousel was my favorite corner. I think its because it was like a long sweeper on the street, with no on coming traffic and much wider lane...

If he was scurred, he would not be on the track on a 14 with 36lbs of tire pressure!!!

Yes,
Light, ballsy.
TUrn on traction control, INFLATE MY TIRES TO 36lbs FOR TRAN and let er rip.
HAving my 14 probably kept me from getting over confident and stupid.
I slowed down most of the day to learn the line. Trolled behind instructors when possible and learned the way around.

didn't want to scratch up that new bike, Ryan has already put a heck on it. Told him to make sure he had full coverage for the track, so when it did happen he could make a track bike out of it.

I here you...I'm still not as comfortable on my cbr yet, as I was on the Concours, having put over 36k on it, I knew it well. Wish I had done a track day on it.

YEs,
Ryan did hex my ZX10!

THe reasons I took the ZX14 were:
1)Its my long term baby and she earned the right to a little track love. She has a big but she knows how to move!

2)Everyone assumed that because I had a ZX10 that it would be the weapon of choice. Just to be the hard headed guy that I am, I took the 14 to drive other nuts...and rode that some with36LBS of tire pressure

You gotta ask Tran about the tire pressure thing!

Just wanted to publicly thank Nghia/CBR_TRAN again for posting the video...I was able to download it and show it to my students and build more cred. :-) They seemed to enjoy it, asked me a lot of questions! I just can't ever show them a level 3 video :-D

No! Maybe...but you do see me take a couple of attempts to pass...and then I can't, so there! I might have only one more track day before you completely smoke me. And then I'll have to follow someone else, lol.

Your lines were GREAT! You can see your body position in the photos and you've got that too. Once you learn the track better and trailbrake you will be unstoppable!

THats right and that handled just fine.
It aint tire pressure getting me around that track...its . I would have to grow really big ones for that 3lbs of pressure to matter

Ask me what my ZX10 will have in those hoops on its first day at the track
