How can you have insurance with no drivers license? Doesn't the insurance agency check a drivers record before writing a policy? Just trying to figure out who is paying for his bike and medical bills!

Aside from the accident, it was a really good ride, most went home from the accident spot but Gary, Jimmy and I decided to keep going and finish the ride. I dont know the roads that we rode but less than half a mile from the accident spot we made a left into and almost got hit by an driving on the other side of the road, as soon as he saw us he made a quick lane change to avoid hitting Gary and almost went into the ditch, at this point i was really uneasy about the whole ride and it wasnt until we got to RR that i was able to relax a little and enjoy the ride. The fun part of ride was of course seeing the new BMW HP4 in action piloted by an expert CMRA racer, and as expected, it did not dissapoint

There is a loophole for big insurance companies to take money for people without a DL, they will add a 10% to 20% premium for Non-Citizen status and issue you an authentic insurance card, most of this type of insurance are liability onle riquired by law because it can get very expensive for a full coverage insurance.

I don't like to think of what would have happened had we been there a few seconds later. cagers didn't know how to drive today.

Frank, when you and Jimmy split, I decided to go down RR again

They had FM359 in Pattison completely closed off for a horse ride. That's the only place I saw any police vehicles

Wow, I didn't know that! So some with no business driving caused a wreck, totaled his bike, and caused him to break his hand. I think insurance companies need to re-think this loop-hole. Why do people drive without a driver's license!

There was something in the air today for sure.. It was affecting drivers for sure. On the way to the hospital we saw two cars gotten into an accident. Someone ate the out of that stop light pole..

Hate to hear when a rider tangles with a cager. Glad he's gonna be ok.
