Angry Damage at the track during a track day...

It is important for you guys to know that anything that happens while we are at the track with ANY org. will only affect us as riders.

Some of you that came out this weekend know about the bathroom bullshit that went down. The fact that this will NOT only affect the school means that WE as riders may not have this event available any more... as you may already know Ride Smart is by far the cheapest track day provider and for someone to try and make a bad reputation for them will hurt the community and not only the school.

I donít know about you but I canít afford 160 or 180 dollar track days so if you actually care for all of us itís important for you to look out and clean after you leave the track.

We are very lucky to have not 1 but 4 track day providers and by you leaving trash, up that doesn't belong to you and ride around the track like if it were an open field for you to go check it out doesn't affect them only. It affects us as a group.

Dave has to pay to get this fixed now. If anyone knows what happened Dave will give you a free track day.

Person responsible should be banned from all track orgs.

It's one thing to make a mistake and go own up to it, completely another to just let someone else foot the bill.

I just let Dave know that Floyd did it. Free Track Day woot!!!

J/K - thanks for posting Floyd. I'd like to think it was an accident, but probably not. To the person who did it, the sooner you make things right, the more chance you have of people thinking you are "stand up," versus "punk 8!7C#."

Unfortunately some people are just dicks.

If it was an accidental event, just come forward and admit to it.

I hope this doesn't effect the org going back. It shouldn't be a reflection on the org, only a reflection on that single idiot.

that is just sad.....
Having traveled extensively across this country, it baffles me why someone willing tears up a place that someone built for our use.

Find the culprit and ban him/her

It does suck.
I would like to believe that since Ride Smart identified and brought the issue up and they are paying to repair, thier organization is not affected.

We on the other hand should beat the of the moron damaging property which could affect us financially as well as put another black eye on the motorcycling community.
It really sucks because it was my first day and EVERYONE from the paddock to the track was open and willing to help each other in any way.
I hope they are identified and exposed.

the sad part is that they dont see it as "SINGLE" they see it as the ORG that held the track day "THAT DAY"

Why do you think we dont do any parade laps at MSRH?? yep.. think about it.

what people fail to understand is that its not the school, but the group of people. We spend all day at the track with big smiles all around.

I love doing track days because of what we do, helping and riding with each other its whats all about.

Hopefully it was just an accident and the person responsible didn't know how to handle the situation. If your the person responsible just own up to it. Its not a big deal. Accidents happen. Just handle them the correct way.

Damage is done by one of Us, the riders. And as Floyd said, one person's mistake affects all of Us. While we keep looking who did this ., how about if we volunteer to fix it? It will not only show MSRH that bike riders as whole, are responsible and that this is one isolated incident, it will also teach the riders that one person's up creates consequence to the rest of the group.
Many of us know how to fix dry wall, and put tiles on. Without representing any entity in particular, but just Us the riders, if anyone volunteers, i'll pick you up, go to Home depot to pick up the material, and take a trip to MSRH. And we come back some cold beer and dinner at some restaurant i know. Again, won't mention which restaurant, becuase this is not an act to patronize an entity, but take responsibily on our own hands.
