Memorial Day Ride: Dallas 2012

Do any of y'all attend the crash Memorial Day ride? I don't stunt but I was thinking about going just to see all of the craziness go on, but after that guy getting arrested last year, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

I can't get any tickets, but I always enjoy watching the videos. They take over the freeway!

fixed. Those give everyone on a sportbike a bad name every day of the week. I can't get behind a group who causes someone to wreck their own bike because of their bullshit stunting and then covers for the guy that caused the wreck when the victim comes looking for him. I lived in Dallas in 2010 when these jackasses pulled that . Guy was pulling a wheelie, caused another rider to go down, then he runs, then his buddies threaten to beat the out of the victim. Real bunch of winners in that group.

I saw a video about it. I mean if you're going to do a wheelie not even 1 foot away from another rider, you're just asking for it.

I was thinking about tailing then like 100-200 yards back and just watch all of the pandemonium.

Haha. Yea it has to be a site. I just don't want to be guilty by association so when I lived there I wouldn't even ride around Memorial Day. Used to be a ton of fun to ride in Dallas. Between those guys and the construction, it just sucks.

That would mean the police would bust you as part of the group, as the group takes off. Think about it. Better investing into track days, than getting a bad rep.

Lolol I can't afford track days. And you're right, I wouldn't want to be guilty by association but I really want to see it all.
