Rugby?

Guys I have been coaching rugby at St. Thomas university for about 4 months now but the team has struggled to field a full side so we are taking it from collegiate to a social club and would like to now invite any of you who are looking to get into something new and energetic to come along to training and try it with us at least for a couple weeks to see if you like it. The standard is not high (YET) and we have a lot of first time players. There are no financial commitments other than a pair of rugby shorts $15 and boots $50 - $100. Not essential unless you want to stick with it.

If you are interested we practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm-9pm and play some Saturdays (NOT ALL) at St. Thomas university near Montrose and Alabama.

If you are interested please PM me or call me at 832 642 0446 (jamie)

oh sh*t I played a few games in my day for the Twin City Tornadoes out of Illinois State University. Do I smell a scrum? I may be interested in this Jamie, but not ready to commit just yet. Does this club party before, during, and after the games like they did when I was in college?

Well the team is still very young and what we need are players be it 18 fully commited players at every training or 30 semi commited players at every other training because you'll know if you played you cant show up to a game with only 15 coz peeps get hurt especially if not fit.

So this is VERY relaxed untill we get an overall commitment from enough to take it further. We have probably the best coaching staff in houston - 2 South Afticans 1 - Australian and myself. Of which me and one of the SA boys will play aswell in games.

To be honost we dont go drink during the week (although that can be arranged) it is mainly 2 hrs of rugby then go home as everybody works and most go to school.

Guys - I would LOVE to have you out and I promise no pressure if you can't make every training coz I don't even make every other Thursday.

I hope you do this - Let me know
