It takes a worthwhile excuse to miss a BORC ride.

What, you don't bring your own jacket, stop by the local convenience store, they are not that expensive.

Great Fun

Not sure of all the ingredients that have to be there, in order for a ride to be epic, but I figure we must have ticked off a fair number of them, from the list, today! Gary and I left Pearland at the crack of dawn (literally) and just rolled back in a little after 4:00. Our small group (3 of us) met up with the Fry road group at Waller County Line BBQ. From there, it turned into a Bevo led ride, am I am not sure any of us are exactly sure where all we went, from there. Other than we ate lunch in Navasota, at the Filling Station. In the end, the group dwindled down to four of us, making our way up through Richards Texas, and down through the National Forest. Last few miles, in the forest, we had the misfortune of getting behind the 100 rider long, "Old Man's Poky Riding Club", but finally got clear. The best fun of the day had to be Gary and I getting stuck in traffic on I45 north, going 1mph of less, for frickin' miles. Thought we were gonna die if I clutch hand didn't give out first.

All in all, a great day! And I enjoyed meeting a bunch of folks I have never had a chance to ride with before. An yes, Trish can stick to you "like white on rice!"

Happy Trails,
Darrell
