Oh, what a delightful compilation of skewed statistics and confounded emotional assertations.
"...Motorcycle crashes are costing our economy $16 billion each year." <- And how exactly is this statement computed? Is this purely the amount taken directly from taxpayer pockets? Does this include the money spent by individuals involved? Does it account for money paid by the insurance companies?
Is this just medical bills? Repair bills? Funeral expenses?
The MRF has the stated goal of promoting motorcycle education and training, but a track record of ignoring the prior, while failing to achieve the latter. <- Okay, but where's the "proof"? I mean, now that we've badmouthed the MRF, what is it we're trying to say?
"Unfortunately, roughly 50% of the American motorcycle market is based around the Harley-Davidson biker stereotype, which often trades common sense..."
^^^ OK so we all really know this is probably true, but could we please throw in something a little more solid & fact-based?
