meh, looks like a GSXR. I'll bet it's still an amazing ride but just not as pretty as it was before.

The red section automatically draws similarities to ducati, but a closer look has me wondering if thats even metal. it looks tacky.

The under belly exhaust was a sure bet, but I kinda wished they would just evolve the headlights a bit, rather than overhauling the front end looks like this. Nothing wrong with it, just... generic.

The Speedie is next on the butcher block. Sure hope they don't f*ck that up too bad and just fix up the exhaust.

This. Even if metal, it looks cheap and formed... not pretty and "built" like the tube design previously. It's like it was formed to look like a tube built subframe... to mimic it.

Overall, I like the changes (mostly the exhaust setup)... but not a huge fan of the frame/body changes.

Speedie got a massive overhaul in 2011, new frame/chassis, engine tweaked...etc....

I was thinking Triumph would do a two-stage revamp to Speedie, similar to what they did to the Streetie - first headlights and frame mostly, then second on exhaust and other styling cues.

They kinda tweaked the Daytona a couple of years ago, but this is much more of an overhaul.

the 2012 was nice, but this just looks cheap. That sub frame looks like it belongs on a gsxr.

Ducati paints their main frames red, but I rarely see their sub-frames red.

I wouldn't say red sub frames are a signature look for Triumph, but they do traditionally do that on their "R" bikes. Either way, it's kinda like gold forks and yellow springs. Everybody knows they are Ohlins' signature colors, but it's so over-copied by every mfrs out there that they've become rather generic.

Don't think it was the color as much as the structure.
The red just makes it pop.

Even though Ducati is the trellis frame icon, I wouldn't call it copying... since it's a basic form of building. This imitation though, just looks bulky compared to the actual tube trellis.

Just for grins, side by side comparo...
