All,

Much thanks for comments. Daughter turns 20 and she is also five foot nothing. A dirt bike makes sense. She has a long quarter break from college---I may hit her up on the Basic course to see if she is really interested. She was after the Guzzi yesterday as I rode it up the drive way, and I got peppered with questions again. Her mother is another issue....

good luck with the daughter, wish i could get my grandkids to ride...
the wife has 3 bikes, and rarely rides.. she mostly goes on the back of mine when I take the roadking out. neither of my sons ride anymore.. the one that is 42 owns 3 bikes (i think) the 40 year old does not even own a bike at all.

Just wondering... is the ladies forum real fancy and get better amenities... you know, knida like the ladies restrooms always seem have sofa, floor lamp, etc., while we boys get... uh, urinals.

Kudos ladies!

I had a lot of fun learning at Awesome Cycles. It was my first time operating. I think having her take the class would be a great gift! She would get a good feel for it, without wrecking your nerves!

Licotrish,

Thanks for your encouragement. Great idea on gifting the basic course (at Awesome would be my choice where I took mine). That way the curiosity would be satisfied, if she went and scored her M license I would be game for buying her a used bike, safety gear and making it fit. I better talk to HQ first though (the Queen) before giving the younger Princess such a gift.

Congrats on the Ninja 300! I had a EX 500 Ninja and loved it. Small bikes rule!
