what helmet should i get?

Like it says in the title I am getting myself a new helmet for Christmas for it wanted to get advice on what to get or what brand. Currently I have a 90 dollar Vega a series. I hear a lot of good things about hjc but it seem it lacks a little style. Limit is $200 and down so let me know!

The HJC are nice. I've got an RPS-10, a little over $200, but the comfort is worth it.

I have bought my last 2 shoei lids online for 250 each. Can't remember the site though. The HJCs I have had in the last were heavy and noisy as

Scorpion, HJC, and Bell in that price range will work just fine.

I picked up a Scorpion EXO400 for $59 a couple of years ago. Never wore it and ended up giving it to a buddy.

Cycle Gear will have a Max Discount helmet for dirt cheap. I got a Shoei Hornet for $217 out the door that way. Sold it to a buddy who was hunting one of those. (no I did not make a penny off it).

I think the HJC CL-16 is about $149....not a bad lid, Motorcycles Unlimited has those in stock

Scorpions are one of my favorites for the cheaper side, ive had a couple not bad at comfort at all and i used one of them in a crash and it did a superb job at absorbing the impacts going like 60ish, hit some business signs and stuff to and one em tried to slice the side of the helmet open but it did a great job at protecting. and theyre better at keeping the fog away especially compared to my rf1100 shoei

First figure out what shape you need. Round, oval or long oval. That way you won't get the wrong fit and end up with the wrong size.

I picked up the HJC CL-16. Good helmet for the price. The anti-fog system it comes with is phenomenal. After its broken in it feels great. Make sure to find out what shape your noggin is. Makes all the difference.
