Hey hey good morning again. I did fall asleep for a bit but when I woke up it sucked because it wasn't just a dream about the wreck... Wtf.... So not fun. Anyway thanks everyone for the kind words. No I didn't break any bones, just tore my knees up and they hurt like . My left side is sore. I have pictures of my bike, I will put them up.

Meh, i wear all gear mostly but the knee pads are not comfortable to me so I roll the dice. Gotta pick n choose how high up in risk your going to be each time you throw a leg over. Props to the people who atgatt.

I have the Knee/Hip gear but I rarely wear them - they make riding a bit stiff. I wear all of the other gear though - lid, gloves, jacket, and boots..

The Alpinestar brand I wear are thin and lightweight, and bend just below the knee.
Cover the shin as well.

They don't affect anything so far as bending the knees on the bike.

$20 versus kneecap replacement? That's a no brainer to me.

Especially since just about every accident I've seen or been a part of, the knees have taken a beating.

sorry to hear about the wreck. How much are you looking to spend? I have an 06 cbr 600 f4i that my wife rides/rode. All kinds of goodies added on it. Penske suspension, etc.

Judging by the photos, the rear tire looks almost bald. Were tires the cause of the wreck?

Her bike died, and came back to life throwing her off.

Yeah they would look cute on her. Not gay like when a guy wears them. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
