Form Houston to there? Nah, I'd go to Northern NM and Colorado first. Maybe the Grand canyon.....there are some really fun roads on the North Rim side. I would even go to northern Alabama and run the southern tip of The Appalachians.

I am not saying your choice is a bad road, but.....its in Ohio of all places. Ohio kinda sucks

That sure does not help their rep. LOL

Pretty much from Iowa East to CT, pretty much sucks (my opinion).
D.C. north....that whole region of the USA has a mentality that I cannot adhere to.

Alot of people say Cali is the same way, but, like Illinois, a city or two ruins it for the rest of the state.
You get out of L.A., S.F., Sac., and there is mostly good people.

I have traveled extensively over the last 20 years, and found what states are good for me, and which ones are not.
Playgrounds be damned if you do not like the state/local Gov't.

My favorite states are Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. They have killer two wheeled playgrounds, a pretty good Gov't and some people that will amaze you. I like Texas too, enough to live here, but the two wheeled playing is kinda crappy.

Cannot agree more with you.

I lived in SoCal but could not wait to get back to Texas
