Craigslist Deal of the Century

2011 Kawasaki ninja 250r - $5500 (Pasadena)

Quote:
I have a 2011 ninja 250r, the green/black special edition model. It has about 6000 miles, it's been my daily driver. Its a very fuel efficient and reliable bike. I lost my job recently, and I can no longer afford the payments on it. I've kept up the maintenance, fluids, and everything. I'm looking for someone to pick up the payments which are $165 per month. I still owe about $5500 because I financed everything. If interested text, or email me, and i'll send pics.

Heck the sad part is that he has probably been paying on it for a year and still owes $5500

probably one of those HSBC retail credit loans where your APR and payments are super low for the first two or three years, then your interest rate shoots up to 32%..

I had a guy offer me a 250 for 4500, when I said it cost less at the dealer he says "But you still have to pay tax and registration, I've already done that!" I was like "Dafuq?" Do people not realize I have to pay to register the bike regardless of whether or not they registered when they bought it?

my his credit must have him really bad...this is a reminder to people so they know that just like a car, buying a motorcycle brand new will take a massive drop in value the second you drive off the lot then again at 3 months in, 6 months, 1 year and 1.5 years in....

he got the warranty and everything wrapped in his payment which brought it up substantially...feel sorry for his situation but he wants people to basically "lease" his bike from him...ehhh nah bushlaugh
