EASY TO PAINT FRAME?

Hey guys i dont like the silver color frame on my bike and was thinking of painting it black or something, i was just wondering if anybody knows how hard it is or any problems that you might have ran into? I have a nice shop to paint in and i have a great paint gun to do it with.

well not to sound like a major poser but all those crazy custom bikes with weird designs on the side, they paint the frame with airbrush and stuff to look like one big design over the frame so thats why i was wondering. i mean you paint car metal and stuff so why not bike metal?. i just want to paint it black like most all the newer bikes have
