Error Code 19

I'm getting an error code 19 on my 2006 R1. I know this has to do with the kickstand kill switch but I was wondering if it was possibly dirty and contact points needed cleaning or if the switch just needed to be replaced.

Use a short piece of wire to bypass it so you eliminate a wiring problem.

I used some spray cleaner on all the exposed areas (temporary fix due to work schedule) and it seems to have helped. I'll tear down the stand for a more thorough clean when work schedule allows the time.
