Question Spilled a lot of Beer

Earlier last night, I bought two bottles of beer. Heineken and Shiner. I have never had Shiner before. Here's the story: I put both the bottles in a plastic bag and left them on the floor board in the back of my truck. I left them there for about three hours. I returned to my truck and I smelled something. I stopped at the gas station and got the beer. I noticed the Shiner was about 1/4 empty. It was all over the back floor mat. I decided to move the Shiner bottle up front. Then I started the second time home. I stopped again, just because to clean the beer off the Heineken bottle. I stood the Shiner bottle up on the passenger floor board and then it fell over and poured all over my front floor board, now all that was left in the bottle was about 1/4 the bottle. I then threw the two floor mats in the back of my truck. Does anyone know of anything to get the beer odor out of my brand new '06 truck? Thanks. I didn't know that Shiner was a twist off bottle cap. I thought all the large bottles of beer had the caps where you had to use a bottle opener to pry the lid off. With my luck I will probably get pulled over for some dumb reason and then the officer will smell beer in my truck. :BangHead:

Let me know if anyone has any ideas on what I can do to get the beer off my floor mats and the odor out of my truck.

Btw, today I hosed the floor mats off with water, hopefully that doesn't hurt them any.

Thanks in advance!

Febreze

Pull as much out as you can for cleaning.

The same thing happened to me in my Lotus. I put a bottle of wine and the trunk and drove across town to a party. By the time I got there the bottle had opened and emptied itself all over the trunk and dripped out the back.

You never had Shiner? You are not a Texan! :laughing6

Better try some St. Arnolds while you are at it.
