Awesome! That was me coming around the outside of T3 in my prov nov shirt at 3:07 in the first video and on the inside of T5 at 5:17 in the last. I got lucky in the second video and got around you while you were in traffic in T1/T2 right from the start.

Thanks for posting your vids, here's mine so hopefully you can find yourself

Congrats on becoming licensed! This was my first race weekend ever...hoping to knock mine out next year.

Cheers Cody I saw myself briefly as you cruised by. My first race was at ECR in sketchy damp conditions - this one was much more fun!

I had a blast. TWS (Texas World Speedway) is my favorite track. I'll be doing MSRH and the 3 TWS (Texas World Speedway) rounds next year. I'd like to do NOLA and Cresson, but I just dont have the money. :(

Cody, I'd love it if you could get your SBC video up (says it's private when I click on it). In Lee's video I pass him around 4 something and you pass him at 5 something. I remember you getting by me later in the race (maybe the last lap when you put in the 1:53), and I must see how!

BTW, with 3 rounds at TWS (Texas World Speedway) next year, I predict you and I are gonna have some fun!

Oops. Did that as a joke because someone posted it showing how they were getting away from me...so I locked it...lmao. It's unlocked now. I pass you on the last lap in T3. I was making my up to you from T4 on the previous lap. You had a pretty good gap and I made it almost entirely up in T1/2.

I came and talked to you after race. Passing you on the inside of T3 was probably the scariest pass I made all weekend. Not because it was close, but because I was on the brakes later and harder than I have ever taken that corner. The camera is on a fork-mount. So the side to side motion you see is what my forks are doing. You can see a little shake when I'm still straight up and down, right around the 8:42-8:43 mark. I definitely credit you for my 53...haha. Had you not been my 'dangling carrot' I wouldnt have taken T1-3 as hard as I did. I didn't feel much faster on the rest of the track...just those corners specifically.

Do you have video of that race or SSC?

I remember the pass and talking to you after the race now. I have to admit that I was pretty surprised to be passed so late, but it seemed like a clean pass to me. Glad I was a dangling carrot for a time that pulled you along. Kind of worked for me as well because I turned my fastest lap chasing you.

I say next year let's make the early races so we don't have to start at the back of the grid. It's fun passing all those people, but as we both learned, chasing that quick guy just in front of you is what makes you faster. With so many of the guys in front of us experts next year maybe we can put some zx6rs on the box.

I wasn't running a camera, so I really appreciate you guys sharing your videos. Huge fun to relive the races.

That was my first race weekend and I had a blast. I got my license on that Friday, so in all 3 of my races, I started on the 2nd to last row of the second wave.

I'm hoping next year to make all the MSRH / TWS (Texas World Speedway) dates and hopefully start in the first wave. Starting in the second wave sucked...haha. To add to that, they took away a lap for day light savings. I know I would've improved a place or 3 in all my races with an extra lap. Oh well. I didn't fill out any contingency stuff, so I'd probably be more if I got a top 5 finish and couldnt get tire money because I didn't fill out the paperwork...lol!

Glad I could tow you around. Looks like you got your fastest lap of the day then! What happened on the last lap of SBB?
-Cody

I was chasing Ben Gooding half the race, and after the white flag I thought I could close up on him in turn 1 and I got greedy. I took a little 120mph dirt cut-off through to the far banking on the NASCAR track. Turns out you go faster on the race course.

You guys put on a great show. Congrats on your weekend. The battles between the yellow shirts were the most exiting part of the races for me. You guys were fast and raced hard too. The photos are'nt from very close up cause I did'nt want to loose sight of the battles around the rest of the track.

Also is the started as hard to see from your grid spot as it seems in the vidieos?

Thanks for the pics!

You mean is it hard to see the flag wave at the start? No, it's the only thing your concentrating on at that time so easy to see.
